Our History

The legacy begins with S. Saverimuttu & Company Chartered Accountants, one of the oldest audit firms in Sri Lanka, where the late Mr. T. E. D. Saverimuttu served a long career. S. Saverimuttu & Company was founded by the late Mr. S. Saverimuttu the father of late Mr. TED Saverimuttu and grandfather of Mr. Aubrey Saverimuttu and Mr. Dion Saverimuttu, who was a founder Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a pioneer in this field in Sri Lanka. Subsequently TED Saverimuttu & Company – Chartered Accountants was founded in June 1976 and commenced the professional practice in Prince Street – Colombo 11 in a small scale. The late Mr. T. E. D. Saverimuttu with his vast experience in the field of auditing, accounting, taxation and business consultancy was able to lay the foundation and guide the organization so as to make TED Saverimuttu & Co. Chartered Accountants a leading Audit firm in Sri Lanka.

Mr.Aubrey Saverimuttu F.C.A, A.C.M.A, F.M.A.A.T, A.T.I.I.(SL)

A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and founder member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. Is also a fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and a Fellow of the Institute of Taxation Sri Lanka. has read for his Masters in Business Administration at the Post Graduate Institute of Management. Has over 25 years of diverse experience in auditing, accounting, financial management, company secretarial, business consultancy and tax advisory services. Having acquired his initial training at a big four firm and has worked in the Mercantile Sector before taking up to public practice. He was involved in diversifying the company to many other fields by founding Financial & Business Associates (Pvt) Ltd the management consultancy Company in the year, Wealth Creation Corporation is the portfolio management Company.
